I signed up and paid for LazyApply over 5 days ago.
To this day, I have never been able to use their service — not once.
The problem?
Their platform only works with Gmail accounts.
...
Horrible-Horrible-Horrible Customer service.
I bought a membership, and felt the platform made consistent mistakes when applying for jobs for me.
I asked for a refund within the 30-day window, and to...It does not work.
according to the plan you have the option to apply for hundreds of jobs per day however, it is not true.
If you get sent 1 or 2 applications it does not fit with your profile.
I wasted my time trying to use that through LinkedIn, ziprecruiter, and indeed, and never found the jobs that I had found by myself.
In 3 days of using lazzyapply it just found and sent 2 applications by linkedin that were ridiculous because the bachelor's required does not fit with my bachelor's.
...
Also, I requested my refund and 3 weeks later I haven't gotten my money back.
...
Spoke to support for days and they acknowledged that it's in beta and that it's not functional.
...
Issue 1: I see it get hung up on things as simple as "Enter Today's Date" and other simple and common fields in applications.
I have also seen glaring, and I mean glaring issues across some of the applications I went back and reviewed.
Makes me really wonder how many applications were messed up.
Issue 2: Although job boards offer filters for things like: Remote, Level, etc...
LazyApply only lets you filter by them for their LinkedIn and Indeed automations.
The filters for the other platforms are limited, if you do choose to get the premium version.
...
If you're looking for a fairly nonspecific role (like marketing specialist, or project manager), it may work better.
For those of us with specialized training looking for specific job titles, really not a good investment.
...
* Installing the necessary extension took multiple tries.
* It applies for jobs that don't meet the filter criteria
* It doesn't apply for jobs that do meet the criteria
* There's no way to manage the application process while it's happening.
There are numerous misspellings and missing features as well.
...
SCAM, avoid.
I paid for a "lifetime" membership - after a few months, my account no longer has any reference to my membership and support has been unresponsive.
Save your money and avoid this company.
...
It fills out the applications horribly.
I watched it apply for 5 jobs and it filled out various parts of the applications with completely wrong info, or it omitted info that the hiring manager needs (such as years of experience with a certain platform).
Since it only does EasyApply stuff, you might as well just click through it yourself.
...
All the emails sent by the app automation were flagged as Spam, most of the jobs applied on the job boards through this app were not even in my scope of qualifications, on the App they had indicated if you don't get an interview within 30 days they will refund your money, now they have blocked me.
Poor customer service, the App is a scam!
Don't waste your time and money!
...
Waste of money!
Most of the time it's not working at all and when it does it's filling up bad data...I didn't get 1 call from more that a 1000 applications tat were sent out.
...
Does not do what it advertises and I am ashamed I wasted $100 on it.
The automation only worked for a few jobs, then quit.
Mostly the app got stuck and didn't do anything.
...
Scam- their "automation" does not work.
Customer service is fake, they just ignore you when you call, text or make an appointment.
Save your money
...
Frustrating- It will send some of your information to a lot of companies with errors and sometimes it will run and nothing will be sent.
The system will also auto-fill incorrect information and send to industries not applicable to my experience.

The problem?

## I signed up and paid for LazUnusable product. Zero customer support. Never got access.yApply over…
This restriction is nowhere to be found during signup or checkout.
I only discovered it after paying.
I signed up with a Hotmail email and was simply locked out.
Since then, I have sent more than three emails to their support team offering to switch my account to a Gmail address.
The response?
Absolute silence.
Not a single reply.
...
My advice to anyone considering LazyApply: do not pay until they are transparent about their technical requirements and actually prove they have a functioning support team.
...
## Don't waste your money - Customer Service is non existent
It started off well, but in the last year, customer service has been nonexistent.
The fields are blanked out even when filled in correctly on LinkedIn applications - not just any fields, but the first and last name.
Other errors include setting "yes" as the default, even though it's incorrect, on questions like "Will you require a visa to work?"

## TOTAL FRAUD, AVOID. Does not function to automate, total waste of time and $$$
The software has only worked properly for me one day out of over 15 that I have been subscribed.
It fails at automation of completing application form - for example, on my first 25 applications it could not even enter my *First Name* and/or *Last Name*.
It typically fails (90% of the time), leaving you to apply manually *AND FIX ITS MISTAKES ON THE FIELDS IT DID MANAGE TO FILL IN*.
There is no "support".
...
## Software returns errors -- No customer support
Software returns errors.
basic searches do not return anything.
Console logs show a 500 internal server error on the search, while the depth logs show a 403 for their scraping service.
It's been down for over a month and I'm at 3 weeks waiting for customer support to respond to my multiple messages I've left for them.

## Hasn't worked for a month now
Hasn't worked for a month now.
I have had it for years and they keep reducing the level of service that you paid for.
If you started off with a lifetime service they reduce the jobs from unlimited to just 150 per day.
Now it hasn't worked for weeks.
It never finds any jobs at all any more.
Customer service doesn't respond to emails.

## The software is complete garbage
The software is complete garbage.
It doesn’t work at all in most cases.
You try to automate the application, but it typically fails and never does anything leaving you with having to apply manually.
Additionally, the company doesn’t respond to any type of support emails or request for refund.
Avoid this company because it’s a complete scam.

I purchased the lifetime membership of lazy apply, and initially, it worked as expected.
However, after a few uses, it stopped functioning properly.
Now, it just hangs on any site I try to use it with.
I’ve reached out to customer support multiple times via email and even attempted to call through Skype, but I haven’t received any response.
I feel completely scammed.
The lack of customer service and the app’s failure to work as promised are extremely disappointing.
While it seemed like a great solution at first, it quickly became clear that it doesn’t deliver.

In May 2024, I purchased a lifetime plan for $129, but the service was ineffective and frustrating.
It submitted job applications completely unrelated to my area of expertise and inaccurately stated that I needed an H-1B visa when I actually did not.
After my resumes were sent out, I received no responses from employers.
I requested a refund on May 22, which was within the refund timeframe.
After numerous exchanges with Sajal, who repeatedly asked for information about my account that I had already provided, he ceased responding altogether after my last email on July 1.
I also contacted paddle.net, the payment portal, to dispute the charge, but they have been unresponsive as well.

A friend recommended LazyApply to me when I was really stressed about job hunting.

Most reviewers were somewhat happy with their experience overall.
Some users have reported positive experiences, particularly praising the tool's ability to save time and its ease of use in applying for numerous jobs quickly.
A few reviewers also appreciated the support team's responsiveness and willingness to address their concerns, even highlighting instances where they received subscription upgrades.
However, a significant number of consumers express dissatisfaction, especially concerning customer service responsiveness and refund requests.
People report that the tool applies for jobs outside their qualifications and fills out applications incorrectly.
Some users describe the service as a scam, citing issues such as unexpected charges, failure to receive refunds, and lack of support.
Others mention that the app simply doesn't work as advertised, with filters not functioning correctly and the automation process being ineffective.

Best LinkedIn Easy Apply Automation Tools in 2026 (And the Risks)
Straight answer first: automating LinkedIn Easy Apply violates LinkedIn’s User Agreement (Section 8.2 prohibits "bots or other unauthorized automated methods to access the Services"), and the tools that do it have the worst track record in the category — LazyApply appears on a public list of blacklisted LinkedIn plugins and sits at 2.4/5 on Trustpilot, while BulkApply, the one bot a 2026 hands-on test found reliable on Easy Apply, went unreachable by June 2026.
If you accept the account risk anyway, LazyApply is the closest thing to a true Easy Apply bot still operating, and LoopCV offers the most credible LinkedIn-adjacent automation.
...
### LazyApply
...
If you came to this page for a literal LinkedIn Easy Apply bot, LazyApply is the most prominent one left — which is exactly why it gets the longest risk paragraph.
...
Notably, even LazyApply’s own LinkedIn coverage has visibly receded: its homepage now leads with Greenhouse, Dice, Indeed and ZipRecruiter, and Chrome Web Store reviewers report the LinkedIn functionality shrank.
...
Rung four, the top of the risk ladder: bots that act inside LinkedIn (LazyApply’s remaining LinkedIn features, or any tool promising one-click Easy Apply blasts).
...
Among tools that operate closer to LinkedIn, LoopCV is the most credible (server-side job-board loops plus a LinkedIn extension), and LazyApply is the closest thing to a true Easy Apply bot still running — at 2.4/5 on Trustpilot and listed on a LinkedIn plugin blacklist, we cannot recommend it.

LazyApply does not.

## LazyApply vs. Alternatives in 2026
The auto-apply category split into two camps in 2025-2026: **volume-blast Chrome extensions** (LazyApply, Sonara, Loopcv) that fire applications at job boards, and **agent-style tools** (Jobright, Simplify, Nox) that score jobs first and apply through different surfaces.

- **Nox** does not match LazyApply on raw volume.
...
- **Jobright** has the largest review pool of any agent-style tool (800+ Trustpilot reviews) and is a closer head-to-head with LazyApply on cost; see the Jobright AI review for details.
...
LazyApply is the wrong choice if you depend on LinkedIn for your career, if you are early-career and need each application to be tailored, or if you cannot afford to pay $99+ up front for a tool you cannot test first.
